From Near-Death to Giving Back: Mr. LA Pride’s Mission to Feed 1,000 of Our Own
Not long ago, I was fighting for my life in a hospital bed, nearly dying from sepsis. It was your love, your prayers, and your unstoppable energy that pulled me through and brought me back.
You saved my life. Now, it is my turn to serve you.
As your Mr. LA Pride, I am launching a mission to deliver 1,000 meals to our unhoused LGBTQI+ family members. We are going straight to the streets to feed the people who need it most.
I don’t have every logistical answer just yet, but I have absolute faith in the power of our community. We willget this done.
I am calling on every single one of you to join me on this journey. Let’s hit the streets to spread love, spark joy, and lift our family back up.

I am deeply humbled, blessed, and overwhelmed with love. Just six months ago, I was lying in a hospital bed undergoing a major, life-saving surgery. I am standing here today because of perseverance, strength, and, above all, the unstoppable support of my community.
